About Sherry
Sherry Fellores grew up in the South Suburbs of Chicago. She wasn’t the kind of kid who had her nose in a book. She didn’t discover the magic of reading until much later in life when a teacher began reading stories aloud in class.
From that moment on, she was hooked on books.
Now, Sherry reads most days and writes stories in hopes that another child will discover the same kind of magic in a book. She’s especially drawn to untold stories about ordinary people doing incredible things and the ways they help their communities.
When she’s not writing, Sherry works in the Elementary School Library where she spends her days reading stories, enjoys lively discussions, and helps students find books they love.
After those things, her mostly quiet library transforms into a big noisy one full of fun and laughter, and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
She firmly believes the library and the stories inside are magical, and that all missing library books have a secret life all their own!
